My Reflection
My reflection on the digital storytelling project is that it was pretty interesting. I've somehow learned more about myself and had some fun making the video. I have never made an imovie before and it was a good experience learning the process. Now I know how to use it just in case I want to make a video for myself and for others to view.

Who’s afraid Of The Virginia Woolf?
In Who’s Afraid Of The Virginia Woolf by Edward Albee. Edward Albee uses point of view and mood to tell the novel. He does this by using sensory Details and Symbolism. As Martha and George, the odd couple, go on with their night, drama starts to begin. Martha is an older woman who likes to stir up arguments and who thinks she is the big deal just because her father owns a college. George is 6 years younger than Martha and works in her fathers history department. As the novel progresses, Martha invites Nick from the biology department and his wife Honey. From what we know it is 2 am in the morning. Martha followed her fathers order to get to know Nick and Honey and become friends. They all sing a tune that says "Who’s afraid of the Virginia Woolf, Virginia Woolf, Virginia Woolf”. Eventually
after 4 am Martha finds out her son died when he was suppose to come home for his 21st
birthday. From this book I have learned karma and the concern for others. Shouldn’t trust
people you just met and even your husband may be keeping secrets. Once Nick and Honey
leaves it’s the end of the novel. A life has been cost. Nothing good has come.

Journal-Like-Entry
In my advisory class we are all working on a class name and writing what we can do to help the students and environment. Everyone chose the name LOT 14. LOT 14 stands for Leaders Of Tomorrow. 14 stands for the number of students in the classroom. It's the best name we can all think of and come up with. We are aiming to stay on top of all subjects, doing our best, and striving to do what is right relevant to school and the outside world.

What Berlusconi's Tan Obama 'Jokes' Say About Italy:
It was the gaffe heard around the globe. Last November, just two days after Barack Obama's historic election victory, the world's collective jaw dropped when Silvio Berlusconi quipped that the next U.S. President was "young, handsome and even has a good tan." Though the Italian Prime Minister refused to apologize for the failed attempt at humor, Obama and his aides gave Berlusconi a pass. The incoming President was not going to be sidetracked by a diplomatic incident with a man already notorious as a loose cannon. Berlusconi kept his place that week on Obama's initial round of phone calls to world leaders, with the "tan" remark firmly off the agenda and both sides hailing strong relations between the key transatlantic allies.

Jealousy? Perhaps. But maybe just a natural reaction. How many times do you walk down the street, check out another woman’s outfit and think, Why? would you ever wear that? What fashion choices make you tick ?

Academic blogging
Blogging is beneficial to education. It benefits education by providing teachers with a user-friendly online format to reinforce strategies.
It is helpful for school because blogs expand instructional. Using blogging in school can help us introduce new topics and concepts to review important class points
and to review for tests provided by enrichment.
Blogging provides teachers with a user-friendly online formatted to reinforce strategies. Meaning, teachers know best on how to make students interested in school work.
One of the most effective ways of changing behavior, and the one which has the greatest appeal in terms at teaching. It's an positive reinforcement. For example, if they would want to see more laps during track, they would use positive reinforcement to get them to run a few more laps.
Blogs expand instructional. (Instructional means the act, practice, or profession of instructing.) Blogging helps us to connect with other people and share information.
I've recently found out that blogging is more popular than Myspace and Facebook. When asked to reflect on a question in class, the response was “why don’t we blog about that?”Two blogging classes have a cyber-pal relationship. When a visitor to one class mentions he is from Europe, the first graders ask “is that near Moose Jaw Canada?” Their point of reference was for the location of the buddy class.
